Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to prove that the “5S” system is a key method for improving labor organization and to develop an algorithm for using it in a modern manufacturing enterprise. In the article the authors analyze the existing methods for improving the labor organization, and come to the conclusion that the Japanese KAIZEN method is the most effective. Taking into account the experience of domestic and foreign organizations implementing the 5S system, the authors give recommendations how to use the 5S in a modern manufacturing enterprise. The proposed recommendations were applied in of one of the manufacturing enterprises located in the Central Federal District of Russia and can be used in modern Russian companies to improve labor organization. The 5S system was gradually introduced into the activities of the enterprise and was included in the company's regulations. Implementation of the 5S system in the office of the enterprise made it possible to: analyze work efficiency; increase staff motivation to implement the 5S system; improve working conditions; create standards to increase efficient work; create work regulations; improve the quality of work; visualize information.
