Topological Data Analysis in Sensor Networks

Abstract:

This study discusses about a short introduction to the new field, Topological Data Analysis (TDA), through a few selected topics using python code for tracking errors and fault classifications in a smart grid. Besides, the faults that could appear at the power system operation, any disturbance in the power supply may lead to discontinuation of power supply and degradation in the power quality. In this paper, we also include a metric system measuring distances using matrices and presenting their particularities (such as symmetry and triangle inequality condition) and a piece of information about Hausdorff distance. The conception of coverage is considered from several points of view due to a variety of sensor networks and ample sort of their applications. We inclusively present tentative outcomes and overview of future research information related to coverage of sensor networks.
