Abstract:

Tourism is one of the most dynamically developing  branch of the  global economy. Political stability of countries and individual tourist regions, and travel safety are particularly important for the development of modern tourist traffic. All manifestations of political tension are immediately reflected in the reduction in the volume of tourist traffic in the countries affected

Armed conflicts and terrorism are undoubtedly the scourge of the modern world. Tourism is very sensitive to all tensions and more frequent manifestations of aggression in some regions of the world. The terrorism threats for the tourism activity is considered in the paper as well as Polish tourist choice in relation to destination is studied in context of terrorism.
