Tourists’ Satisfaction in the Context of Traditional Textile-Based Tourism: What Factors Make Them Satisfied?

Abstract:

This study examines the factors that influence the satisfaction of tourists visiting Trusmi, a centre for batik artisans and traders who have become a tourist village. Three predictors were chosen, including destination image, perceived value, and memorable tourism experience. Participants in this study were selected using the convenient sampling method. In total, 332 participants filled out the questionnaire completely. The data were then processed using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation models. As a result, the destination image had a significant effect on perceived value. Additionally, the perceived value affected a memorable tourism experience and tourist satisfaction.
