Abstract:

This paper describes a research-in-progress project that aims to provide an understanding of the critical success factors of offshore software development projects. The research design is outlined. The research project is expected to contribute with new knowledge around influencing factors for the successful implementation of offshore development projects, hereby addressing the viewpoint of German clients.
