Abstract:
The concept of the Teal organization, although very controversial and challenging, inspired many organizations throughout the world to verify the methods of human resource management and adopt completely different set of management principles and practices. The purpose of this paper is to provide more insights into how a young e-marketing agency deals with principles and values of an evolutionary teal organization. The applied exploratory research aims to answer the question of how the specific company implements the concept of self-regulation and self-management, what problems it encounters and how it evolves towards a Teal organization. The preliminary research findings, based on an in-depth direct interview, confirm that young entrepreneurs are constantly looking for more effective human-oriented forms of organization management and employee involvement. They are willing to implement and verify new, even controversial approaches, so that the work provides self-fulfilment and safe space for employees and at the same time enables the company to achieve its goals. Nevertheless, there are doubts about transparency of employees' remuneration, additional bonuses, or full self management without the leadership of the business owner. In addition, the contribution of the author lies in the development of a conceptual model of a Teal organization including the main characteristics of this new management paradigm, which were evaluated by the studied emarketing agency.
