Abstract:
The circular economy presents a complex system which tries to keep raw materials and materials in the marketplace for the longest possible time to save natural resources and lower the human waste on our planet. Non-renewable natural sources are gradually becoming exhausted, which reflexes in the increase or fluctuation of prices of raw materials. Thanks to circular principles, the number of material entries into the production might be lowered. Then the risk of this might be avoided. The circular economy is one of the significant ways how to secure the economic growth of the society. It might be approached as a scientific model concept of a sustainable development of the economy, which we might also call a type of green economy. The paper focuses on the examples of the circular economy in the automotive industry, which has a dominant place in the Slovak Republic.Â
