Abstract:

Cloud Computing paradigm is becoming more and more popular. The cloud provides a great means for gathering and redistributing knowledge both in intra and inter-organization level. Therefore, it has a great capability for providing knowledge management services that can be used extensively for business intelligence and competitive intelligence in business firms. Currently these capabilities are not utilized for knowledge management in Saudi firms. This research in progress paper introduced the architecture of Knowledge Management based Cloud Services for firms in Saudi Arabia. The different cloud service can be used for knowledge management in the cloud environment to benefit knowledge sharing in Saudi firms.
