The statistical data have been processed based on fixed indices, average, average annual growth rate and the imports coverage degree by exports (an indicator of economic competitiveness). Oilseeds cultivated area has continuously increased in the analyzed period from 1,340.4 thousand ha in 2007 to 1,629.5 thousand ha in 2016. Oilseeds price reflected a large variation from a year to another, continuous increasing, justified by demand/offer, starting from 2007.
