Abstract:
The year 2011 was marked by numerous events in the economic, social, political, and natural disasters. Many have contributed to changing global economic climate. For 2011 the world economy has been difficult given the significant increase in prices of food and oil, which caused disruptions to business and consumer pressures on personal budgets. Economies continued to feel the consequences of the most severe economic and financial crisis after World War II expressed by high unemployment, high inflation, fiscal consolidation etc. While the world economy to recover in the last quarter of 2011 have signs indicating worsening and increased the intensity of the course of the second wave of the crisis. The main focus of the vulnerability of the global economy remains the sovereign debt problem in developed economies, manifested mainly in euro area countries. Agriculture is an integral part of the economy, which recorded very slow pace of development. The impact of agriculture occurs on macroeconomic indicators: GDP decrease, loss of jobs in related economic sectors, especially in the food supply chain, which is based on primary agricultural sector to achieve high quality raw materials, competitive and secure, and food sectors. Are affected primarily rural areas, while also accelerating the processes of depopulation of rural areas, with important social consequences.
