Abstract:
The present study is a comparative analysis between Romania and EU27, which takes into account three indicators: age of active farmers in agriculture, the level of their specialized training and the performances in agriculture, measured by production value obtained from agricultural activities.
The study, conducted through statistical analysis and documentation is divided into 4 part . In the first part is presented the age structure comparative analysis between Romanian and EU27 farmers in 2005 - 2010 as a first factor of economic performance; the second part shows the comparative analysis of the level of agricultural training of farmers in period 2005 - 2010, as a second factor of economic performance, and the third part shows the evolution of production value obtained in Romania and other developed countries from EU, as a result of the first two indicators. The study ends with a series of conclusions and recommendations resulting from the analysis.
