Abstract:

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has opened widespread opportunities for industry implementation. Although its vast benefit is promising, the challenges in the implementation of AI are shadowing its future. As the scholarship grows along the vast growth of AI, it is important to have a general view of current research efforts. This study adopts a systematic review approach to analyse the current state-of-the-art machine learning-based AI research. Synthesising 134 articles, this study identifies four focused research areas. It also highlights the rise of attention in human-AI relationships, especially in the AI implementation research area. The paper also underscores the importance of studying the intricate dynamic interplay between humans and AI technology.
