Abstract:
The fallowing paper explores the possibilities of implementing eye tracking technology during the design of an early warning mobile application. The authors using two available mobile applications related to crises management apply eye tracker testing in order to identify possible insufficiencies in the applications´ design from the user perspective. However, the main aim of the paper does not consist in proposing optimizations for the presented applications, the authors focus rather on designing a suitable testing method that could be used for the assessment of a future early warning application adjusted to fulfill user design (UX) requirements.
