Abstract:

In this article the authors propose a couple of scenarios for use cases related to a folder from a document management system. In this purpose, the model concept and the Unified Modeling Language are, briefly, described. Also, the key terms from this domain are identified. Further, the use case diagram at the folder level is presented and a detailed description of 5 from the 7 use cases of this diagram is realized. Finally, it is presented the sequence diagram for the folder creation use case, thus, emphasizing the objects involved in the folder creation and the messages sent between them, chronologically ordered during their life time.
