Use of case studies as a research method

Abstract:

The aim of this article is to develop a discussion on the use of case studies as well as an appropriate tool or method of exploration in the economic field. The article deals with the difference between the case study case, which is currently part of many textbooks and research case studies. In connection with the research case study, the article is divided into five coherent logical units. The first one deals with the process of compiling a research case study. Detailed case study preparation, data collection - interviewing and utilization of secondary resources, analysis of the data obtained and drawing conclusions are detailed. In the next part, the problem is outlined due to the ideal number of case studies conducted. The third part of the article deals with the theoretical results from case studies and its general plane. The fourth part summarizes the overall suitability of the case study methodology and the article's critique. The conclusion of the article is devoted to the use of case studies as a methodological basis for the dissertation thesis called Organizational transformation of the enterprise and integration of the company during the life cycle. Research case studies will be used in research in connection with dissertation work.
