Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the influence of information and communication technology (ICT) use on English language learning among third-year secondary school students at a public institution in Cajamarca in 2023. One hundred and thirty students participated in an applied, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational-causal research study. A 24-item questionnaire, validated through expert judgment and demonstrating high reliability (Cronbach's alpha of 0.911 and 0.917), was used. The results showed greater variability in ICT use and a very strong positive relationship between the variables, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.951. The model showed that ICT use accounted for 89.4% of the variation in English language learning, confirming that these technologies significantly influence student performance.
