Abstract:

To increase the performance and competitiveness of company, effective management of manufacturing processes with regard to environmental sustainable development is needed. Constant monitoring and evaluation of environmental impacts and analysis of inputs and outputs of processes is a part of effective management. This paper is focused on reduction water consumption in hospital laundry. To achieve this aim is necessary to design a suitable arrangement of a production system using Water Pinch Analysis and Water Pinch Design.
