Using Blockchain Smart Contract Approach in Improvement of “Orders & Payments” Process Implementation in Carrotspot Benefit Platform

Abstract:

The article presents our original solution used in time of implementation of business process of orders and paymentso, offered by Carrotspot benefit platform – our crucial market product. We located previous much hopes in using of smart contract mechanism, because smart contract proposed by blockchain technology was "natural" and good decsribed in literature mechanism for secure and decentralise runnig of finansial transaction in distributed network. But, in our works we met some problems with using of smart contract as key mechanism for mentioned process implementation. For this reason in R&D project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-1011/18, that was granted by Poland’s NCBiR institution, we were testing different approaches to effective and real-time reactive running of transactions in employees internal stock market service, available on Carrtospot.

In this paper we described main considerations about usage of chain codes (smart contracts) from Hyperledger Fabric, used by us. We presented main assumption and results from analysis and development phases and experimental tests of chain codes properties.
