Abstract:

The paper aims to assess the effectiveness of measures to improve the organization of road network (using the example of controlled intersections), determine the indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of controlled intersections, establish the role of BI systems in such tasks, and describe the project for developing a BI application for analysis of road network organization at a controlled intersection before and after optimization. The possibilities of using business analysis technologies in evaluating activities to improve the organization of controlled intersections are illustrated by a project of developing a BI application for municipal administrations. Qualitative positive effects from the implementation project both for the company-developer, and for municipal administrations are considered.
