Using the Design Thinking Concept in HR Department Image Development

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to answer the following research questions: P1: What mechanisms referring to the development of cooperation and competition are present between the HR department and other departments in an enterprise and affect the perception of this department’s role? P2: How can the Design Thinking concept be used in the process of creating a positive image of the HR department? To achieve the purpose of the paper, literature studies and the results of empirical research, based on a single-case study method were used. The specific activities were discussed, which offer practical implications for HR specialists in other enterprises. The article presents not only practical implications but also future directions for researchers.
