Abstract:

The authors present in this article two main web technologies that can be used to design a document management system. In this purpose, they are presented, firstly, the advantages of the PHP and the ASP.NET technologies, emphasizing the advantages of the first technology towards the second.Finally, it is presented the document management system designed using the PHP technology. This system allows adding a department, adding a document for a department and, also, searching a document.
