Abstract:

The objective of this study was to establish the validity of the measures and metrics for green supply chain performance measurement. The test was carried out with 16 measures and 72 corresponding metrics. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted in order to investigate the construct validity of the measures and their metrics. Sequel to this, a confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the model fitness. Finally, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to test the criterion validity of the measures. From the results obtained, the validity of the measures and their corresponding metrics has been established. The paper culminated with recommendations for further studies.
