Abstract:
Human Resources Management and Development (HRMD) has been evolving simultaneously with the advances of technology and supporting organisations in the industry in the contemporary competitive environment. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are innovative technologies with a recognised potential in several fields and have a lot of potentialities for the industry (Sorko & Brunnhofer, 2019). Due to the ability to simulate real contexts, immersion and interactivity between virtual and natural environments, they are promising technologies to support the HRMD processes in the manufacturing sector.
