Water Resources and Achieving a Comprehensive Balance of the three Compo-nents of Sustainable Development

Abstract:

Conservation of water resources is extremely important for achieving sustainable development in its three components: economic, social, and environmental. The author examines the existing environmental problems and identifies the most significant ones that require urgent solutions. A review of measures to preserve the environment, waste water sludge disposal technologies and individual production facilities in the field of ecology was conducted. Fundamental indicators of environmental efficiency and ecological and economic efficiency in the construction of a green economy have been introduced. A set of measures to combine the efforts of environmentalists, economists and the population in achieving sustainable development is proposed.. For this purpose, technical means of preserving and protecting the environment are studied, economic indicators for managing sustainable development are found, and measures are proposed to improve the culture of consumption of the population, leading to the transformation of irrational production in order to preserve natural resources and the biosphere. Increasing the culture of consumption is considered not only as a way to preserve the environment, but also as a natural phenomenon that contributes to the balance of supply and demand, reducing labor costs to ensure human life, reducing inflation, increasing the reliability and convertibility of the national currency, and strengthening the country's financial sovereignty.
