Abstract:

Increasingly modern world of IT and web development in the fast have a strong impact on the economy even on its small players. Some IT are not just modern tools – they create a new way of organizing business activities. The paper aims to analyze advantages and disadvantages of the Wiki and how it is adapted creating the Wiki economics. In this paper there is also analysis of the Wiki as a method to improve competitive environment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and enabling to better and more effectively optimize the quality of communication between staff and business partners. It is important to pay attention to SMEs as many of them do not survive in the market though they are considered to play significant role in the economy. It makes arise the essential issue – how to support SME to develop successfully especially at the moment of the economic crisis.
