Abstract:

The article focuses on a concrete application of computer simulation in a real-life company environment. The Witness program is used to model the environment of a production line, followed by the design of a range of possible scenarios. The model is also connected with MS Office Excel to simplify operation. The result of the case study is not only the optimization of the production line, but also a complete tool for possible future optimizations in case of changes of conditions.
