Abstract:

The article presents the results of a 5-year research project on linguistic-stylistic analysis of annual reports, particularly on the analysis of the model annual report of the Bank of England. The main results of the research are guidelines for writing Czech annual reports in English. The research also shows the importance of combining English teaching skills and content knowledge.
