Abstract:

The relevance of the article is due to the fact that many young people, having limited opportunities to find a well-paid job in their region, often leave it in order to promote their careers and improve their standard of living. In this regard, one of the research areas is youth migration, which is growing in scale and has negative consequences for the region. Based on the official data of the Federal State Statistics Service for the period from 2008 to 2016, the migration movements of the population within the Russian Federation were analyzed. Administrative-legal and socio-economic mechanisms for attracting educational migrants by the world's leading powers have been identified.
