Abstract:

The study examined the currency of the Chinese yuan for the breadth of its distribution in the world as a financial instrument, as well as the use of the yuan as a reserve currency. The yuan is included in the list of reserve currencies not so long ago, but although it refers to limited convertible currencies, it has a great international use, both in international trading and in using the yuan as a reserve currency.

The reseach evaluated the potential for further appreciation of the yuan in the international arena and strengthening the position as the world's reserve currency, analysed the current economic situation of yuan usage in the global currency and trade market and made projections prospects of expand its zone of influence and use on the world stage.
