We invite you to take part in a special thematic session “Circular economy – state of the art and future trends” in the framework of the 39th IBIMA Conference.
The special session addresses environmental challenges facing the world of science and business. Circular economy (CE) leads to the efficient use and recycle of resources and to stop climate change, through limiting the harmful impact of production and consumption on the environment and the protection of natural resources, among others.
We would like to share the research results related to determinants of the transition towards CE, its key pillars as well as strategies and practices for circularity in many fields (e.g. plastic and bioplastic packaging, supply chain management, waste management in cities, government policy and regulations, e-commerce). We would like to lead a unique session building bridges between many CE stakeholders.
We hope that the special session will bring together researchers and audience from around the world due to the significance and interdisciplinarity of the issue.
Interested academics and practitioners are invited to submit:
- Research papers: complete papers (5000 words max.) with complete references section.
- Short papers: this could be research in progress, abstracts, ideas you would like to explore with audience at the conference, or draft of papers for possible co-authorship: (max. 5 pages or 1500 words)
