Dear colleagues,

We invite you to take part in a special thematic session “The influence of technology development on communication disorders. Social and emotional dimension. Ways to change – new therapeutic models” in the framework of the 38th IBIMA Conference.

The digital revolution has caused the marriage of man with technology and has disrupted the existing social models. New channels [telephone, e-mail, SMS, social networking sites] superseded the existing forms of communication, and thus caused the disappearance of personal contacts. Written text has a limited emotional load, which makes it difficult to read, properly interpret, and thus build appropriate relationships and social attitudes. Direct contacts disappear, social behavior change, and human attitudes are not created properly the lack of feedback on the emotional charge of the message impairs the functioning of the entire society. Individuals locked in their lights lose their sense of belonging and social responsibility.

Promotion of the session will take place using modern communication channels page 38th IBIMA Conference 3-4 November 2021, Linkedin, GoogleAds, thematic portals.
