Relationships of Corporate Social Responsibility with Organizational Resilience before and during Covid Times – A Literature Review

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to enrich existing knowledge regarding the links between corporate social responsibility practices and their organizational resilience, and to determine perspectives and directions for further research. Corporate social responsibility is defined as all voluntary organizational activities taking into account social interests, environmental aspects or relationships with various groups of stakeholders, in particular employees. In turn, organizational resilience is the company's hidden ability to sense and correct improper adaptation tendencies and to cope positively in unexpected situations. For the analysis of the above content, scientific articles selected from the Scopus and Web of Science databases were selected, which presented practices showing the relationships between corporate social responsibility and the resistance of these organizations. The results of these investigations confirm the relationships between these constructs and their analysis has identified a research gap that can be filled by subsequent scientific interventions.
